This year the American Heroes Run will be held on Saturday September 8th, 2012. Although we will not be holding the event on 9/11 (as we have the last two years) we will still be following the September 11th, 2001 timeline during the day. We will be holding the event on the weekend to allow for maximum participation and to continue our efforts to bring the community together to honor our brave men and women of service.
As the run will not be held on 9/11 this year, we will be offering a new distance to commemorate the day- so if you choose, please register for and plan to run the 9.11 mile run in honor of our great nation and those who were lost at Ground Zero, The Pentagon and from Flight 93.
We will also be relocating the aid station to take it out of the sun, and we will be adding many new treats and refreshments for you throughout the day. Please plan to bring your flags, tents and chairs and spend the day with us.
God bless the USA.

American Heroes Run.
We will never forget the tragic events of 9/11/01 and how it changed our nation forever.
Please join us for this special day and celebration of the greatest nation on earth. We wish to honor our troops, firefighters and law enforcement officers all of whom put their lives on the line to protect us.
This run is a celebration of freedom and the USA!
No politics; just patriotism.
